Brewpubs and DJs, Live Gigs and Cinema - Nightlife and Entertainment in Fremantle

Find a place to stay

After dark, central Fremantle comes alive with music, dancing, and drinking. The section of South Terrace from Bannister Street to Parry Street has so many coffee bars it's known as the "Cappuccino Strip." You can drink in historic city pubs, hit the dance floor in the clubs, or take in some live music. Fishing Boat Harbour also remains lively into the small hours.

Fremantle’s cafés, bars, and brewpubs

The Cappuccino Strip is Fremantle's nightlife hub, and is lined with bars and clubs. Central to the action is The Sail and Anchor Pub, a local landmark in a heritage-listed building. The interior features a spiral staircase and wood-paneled walls, and its 4 bars serve 40 draft beers. Close by, The Monk Brewery and Kitchen is a brewpub serving honest, globally inspired food. At Fishing Boat Harbour, Little Creatures is another popular craft beer pub.
