On the leafy campus you’ll find plenty of events from talks to athletics, with the baseball team often winning local championships. The UC Irvine Medical Center is also an important landmark for education, with this modern teaching hospital hosting several specialist clinics with world-class facilities. Old Towne is in the heart of Orange, with many original buildings from the late 19th century set around a picturesque square. These include charming boutiques, cafés with colorful awnings, and antique stores full of unique items.

How to get to Orange

Orange Station is on the Los Angeles Metrolink system, with regular services to Los Angeles Union Station taking less than 50 minutes. There’s also John Wayne Airport which is located in nearby Santa Ana, with flights arriving from across the USA. From here you can pick up a rental car and get to Orange in about 15 minutes if there’s no traffic. You can also pick up one of the regular shuttle bus services to the Tustin Metrolink station, then take the service to Orange, with the transfer taking about 45 minutes in total.
