Food was lovely and we were really positively surprised of the restaurant. Close to the airport- just short drive away. "This is a lower category hotel in the Melia chain, near 3* not the 4* and above we have stayed in previously and expected. The room was basic but had all amenities and the large bed was comfortable. General areas and pools were good amenities but the standard of cleanliness everywhere was low. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant, salad bar, breakfast cereals and cold food was decent. "It was a stunning and comfortabke property with spacious rooms and beds. The pool is lovely too. We stayed only 1week after it had opened officially and it still had some teething problems. There was little comms around the room service situation (or lack of it) and we had to ask for things like dish washing stuff and bin bags as there were none in our suite.
