"The rooms are clean and comfortable; Wi-Fi worked well and there was hot water in the shower. I had prepaid with Expedia, but I was asked to pay again in cash at check-in. With my limited Spanish I was able to show my receipt and that was sufficient. The key fob is huge; the idea being that you will hand in your key if you leave the property rather than take it with you. That way they can control access to who is coming and going. It was a nice one night stay. "

"This was a trip to Puerto Cayo. Puerto Cayo is a very very very sleepy little village west of Jipijapa. You have to want to go there. There has to be a reason. Otherwise, most people head to Frailes or up to Manta. If you want quiet and no people -- not cars in the streets or motorcycles making noise, then Puerto Cayo is for you. It's a beautiful and empty 5 mile long beach. Maybe 20 boats out every morning looking for fish. Whales are littler yards away migrating up or down the coast. It's...

"We had a fantastic stay at Manta Sail Plaza. Every one we talked to in the reseption talked good english, even the night shift. There where not many guest at the hotel so whe where uppgraded to a suite. The bed was wery soft and comfortable. Good curtains made the room realy dark, so we where able to get a looong good sleep. Every thing was clean and working. The undergound parking has room for many many cars, so no problem to park and then take the elevator up to our room. The pool
