"Any staff we met were friendly and helpful if we needed anything. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t need it, but the room had a cute little kitchen set up. Hot plate, no oven, but if you're doing a little longer stay, would be a convenient way to save money. No table & chairs to eat at. "

"This is the most amazing place. A hidden gem. We only had a reservation for one night. We couldn't extend as the Cresthaven was booked which was unfortunate for my husband and me. Cathrine and Warren, our hosts, went out of their way to make our stay the very best. We arrived late in the evening. The local restaurant was closed. The next nearest place was over a half hour away. Cathrine volunteered to make us a chicken salad for dinner instead of us driving to the nearest town. That was so sweet and unexpected. The next morning at breakfast Warren fed us a breakfast that stayed with us most of the day. He had coffee with us; we talked about our plans and Warren offered wonderful suggestions which we took. Between the offer of dinner, the previous night and tips on what to do that day things couldn't have been better. Already planning our next trip to Cresthaven and believe me, we will stay more than one night. Plenty to see and do. But the best part was probably sitting on the porch, watching the eagles and the tide going down on the Shubenacadie River while enjoying a glass of Canadian wine."
