Transportation in Osaka

Kansai International Airport is set on an artificial island in Osaka Bay, putting it at the heart of the city, and flights arrive from across Asia on a regular basis. From here you can take a direct, high-speed train to Namba Station with the connection taking about 37 minutes, and can change trains and get to Osaka Station in another 10 minutes. There’s also the smaller Osaka International Airport (ITM-Itami) which welcomes domestic flights from across Japan and is about a 20 minute taxi ride north of the city center.
