"We stopped off at the Bluebird for one night following a wedding in the area. We chose the Inn for the location, which was on our route and very convenient. We were able to check in early and very easily - the bar manager was very pleasant and helpful. The cleanliness of the room left quite a bit to be desired. The bedding was somewhat stained, the window panes were mouldy and equipment for hot drinks needed a wash before use. However, we overall got what we paid for and had no issues with...

"The hotel is very nice which is why we stay there so frequently when visiting family. The gym, pool, the restaurant and bar are all very good. The only down side is the 1030 check out. We would more than likely have breakfast on our stay at the Wrightington but it means getting up so early on Sunday to get ready, pack go down for breakfast and check out is all a bit of a rush. Apart from this our stay is perfect. "

"The room was extremely dirty with dust everywhere. The room I was given did not have basic amenities, such as toilet paper, soap, and a dustbin. The most disturbing of all was the water that was not flowing. The door key was not working, so they had to use the master key to allow me in anytime I came out. I did not get any value for my stay."
