First off, all the staff was friendly, helpful and doing their best. My problems with this hotel are definitely just from choices of corporate management, that is doing the fastest, cheapest on this place. It was recently bought by Wyndham, the sign is still a tarp. We stayed in the remodeled 3rd floor, and already the refrigerator didnt work and the shower was plumbed backwards so hot was cold and cold was hot. Also the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor so all that new remodel will have water damage soon enough. Also, the bed has two side lights and some mood lighting across the headboard, but they all turn on with one light switch on one side of the bed, and you can't flip between the options. A real manager's special. Also at breakfast the waffle iron was broken and there was no gravy for the Biscuits.

Recently taken over from Holiday Inn Express & in need of maintenance & renovation. Lots of small issues that need attention. Main issue was bathroom light/fan combo that sounded like the motor was jammed. Didn't feel safe using it - so no light either. Neighborhood not the greatest. The property is not being maintained. The room phone did not work. Door over fridge sprung and hanging askew. Piece of wall trim pulled off and left standing against the wall. No reason to go back.

The room was clean, but VERY stuffy. Rooms really need updating. The very nice lady at check-in told me that they are renoving the third floor. So maybe they will get to all floors. It is really needed. Breakfast was fine.

It was clean and the staff were very polite. I would stay again but they need to do some minor maintenance. The curtain was jammed and didn’t close all the way and we had to prop something on it to keep it closed. The shower door wouldn’t stay closed and to use a washcloth wedged in it to shower. The AC unit was loud. The iron in the room leaked all the water I added out onto the floor. Again, these were minor things to me. The room and hotel was clean and that’s my main priority when traveling.
