The good stay

We spent 3 nights here and have no complaints. Just a good stay. Could be little bit cheaper, but ok, we chose it. There is a pool in the pictures gallery, but it is not accessible for children (under 16), so kids were disappointed. Good locstion close to the highway and old city of Avignon.

I am puzzled as to why this is so highly rated, the rooms are like little dungeons, the bedding, the pillows, the mattress are such poor quality, in fact the whole interior feels like what it would be like in a prison, basic and low quality As you can imagine the wifi is also of a poor quality The food options are so minimal, next to nothing around, as the hotel is no where near Avignon, so many better options and way over priced

La grande désillusion surfacturée

A mon arrivée, l'accueil est rapide et sommaire. J'obtiens la clé sans plus de précision et me dirige vers ma chambre (Ch.04) qui est propre et spacieuse. Je sors pour manger et à mon retour : de l'eau coule du plafond ... un dégat des eaux peut arriver donc je reste compréhensif et accepte l'alternative en sous-classé (Ch.24) que le personnel de nuit (intérimaire) trouve.. Il est déjà 23h30 : je l'accepte et me couche. Au réveil, constat : poussières et débris sous le lit ... housse avec des taches ... mouais. Je me dirige à l'accueil pour le check-out : facturation d'un petit déjeuner (non consommé), de frais de parking (non annoncé la veille), facturation de la chambre initiale 04 (+chère) et non de la déclassée 24 (un comble)... Le personnel est alors expéditif et me dit que je ne comprends rien (alors que je suis en déplacement 2 à 3 fois par semaine), tandis que d'autres clients arrivent pour se plaindre de multiples désagréments... La Directrice intervient, et prend mes coordonnées pour me contacter ultérieurement car je dois partir en RdV Client. Réception d'un mail en fin de journée pour m'annoncer un geste commercial : petit dej et parking offert !! (en même temps, pas consommé !!) : un réel manque de considération des désagréments et d'honnêteté, non régularisation de la chambre, etc.. Bref, entre la propreté, la surfacturation, etc : plus jamais ! J'envisage le recours légal tant la facturation est incohérente avec la prestation et les désagréments !
