Not a place to stay
I would never stay at this hotel again. I can only give a few stars to the breakfast staff. The room was SO small and dated. The towels and bedding were so old and didn’t feel clean. There was even a hole on the towel I used. The most disgusting thing was I found a pile of garbage hidden on the floor behind the TV.

Worst experience in NY!
Terrible experience! They gave us a room that I am not sure if it was even a room! Different bed than we booked, a bathroom that had no door (we did not book accessible room), we had to throw towels all over the floor because it would get wet, the shower was more a hose, we had to bend to get water on us, the experience was so bad that we checked out two days before our original date!! Never again!

Hotel tres moyen...
Nous etions 4 avec 4 valises. Chambre vraiment petite. Impossible d ouvrir les valises correctement.Chambre pas tres propre, contour des lits tout déchiré. Moquette sale et clim idem.....connection tres faible. Seulement 2 ascenseurs pour 36 etages....l attente est longue. Emplacement proche de time square mais tres sale et fortes odeurs ....je ne conseillerai pas cet hôtel pour une famille de 4 qui souhaite un minimum de propriété et confort. Petit dej tres limité egalement.

Overpriced and dirty
This hotel is incredibly dirty. The lobby was filthy, there were stains on the lobby furniture, the elevator was full of smudges, the hallway carpet leading up to the room looked unkept, there was old gum on the floor in the room, sheet was yellowed and stained.

Excellent staff, room not so much.
Well, the staff was excellent! Very helpful and attentive. Especially the guy making waffles in the morning! I'm someone who travels frequently so I've interacted with a lot of hotel staff. Also, have stayed in alot of different hotels.
The room had some issues that should have been addressed in between guests.
1. The security latch was not aligned with the door so it didn't work. I was offered for someone to come fix it but I declined because I was already unpacked and I don't like hotel staff in my room when I'm not there. Nothing personal against your staff, just people in general. I felt like that should have been checked and fixed prior to my arrival. Also, I was missing a desk chair. I did request and have one brought in so that was good but also that should have been there prior to my arrival.
2. The room overall is in need of updating and the bed dips towards the middle so the mattress is obviously old. I'd also suggest some sort of solid border around the bed frame because parts of it stick out and I jammed my toes a few times - good thing I was wearing shoes.
I DID receive a 2nd floor room which I requested and I appreciate that because the stairs were easy to use and access.
Overall, 5 stars for staff but maybe 3 for the room. I didn't feel like the room was worth the price I paid mainly due to the updates that are needed.
I'm maybe 50/50 on staying there again on my next trip to the City.

Decent-not great but several areas that were good
There was not enough shampoo in the shower and the shower gel and hand soap were switched so when taking a shower the only option was hand soap. The decorative window curtains were broken on one side.
The pros: Breakfast had many options and was hot and delicious. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to sleep well because the beds were comfortable.

Would not stay again
The front desk Miranda was great! Unfortunately besides for the bed being comfortable the ice bucket had mold in it, I requested a low floor a week ago do to a leg injury and we were placed on the 23rd floor. We waited standing fifteen minutes for an elevator that wasn’t filled with workers. The shower door didn’t close properly so water all over the floor. The breakfast was good but the place to eat was dirty. Location was decent.

Convenient!
Overall we had a good stay ! Convenient if you're going on a cruise or traveling by train you're in the center location of both. They were able to hold our luggage (we actually debarked the ship earlier than anticipated) until our room was ready. The only problem we ran into once the room was ready, it actually wasn't ready the bathroom toilet was dirty with something spilled all over it and when we addressed it we were able to switch rooms but when someone came up to look at the room, the lady wasnt so nice to us/friendly and we were being polite about the whole thing (not being rude/angry etc.) I'm not sure if she didn't believe us or what but it was obvious that the toilet was a mess and gross! I wish I had a photo.
