I informed the staff upon arrival that i would only be staying for 1 of the 2 nights booked, and I did so less than 1 hour after i booked the stay and subsequently physically checked in. The front desk clerk, a lady, said that that was in fact no problem because i paid upon check-in. However the next morning upon checkout i was billed for both nights. I attempted to discuss this issue with what turned out to be the actual owner who i had already irritated by requesting to be directed to the location of an item, the milk, that was not in open sight or there being any sort of indicators as to it's location. The gentleman was not only arrogant and rude but acted as if i was inconveniencing him with each ofvmy 3 interactions. Asking for the milk and the orange juice must have made him upset. So, when checking out i again told him that i was not staying another night as i had stated the night before. I was told i had to cancel and was told i was supposed to give a24 hour notice and i explained that i had, but he shifted it to hotels.com responsibility even though he processed the final amounts. He was a jerk and did himself no favors. I did try to cancel but itbkn
