Good, but noisy
Decent hotel in a good location. It was undergoing renovations during our stay there and you could practically feel every hammer blow and drilling that was taking place. On our first day, construction started promptly at 8am, followed shortly later by a series of short fire alarms. I was told that the smoke alarms were detecting the fine particulates from the construction. The hotel staff were helpful in relocating one of our rooms up to the ninth floor to give some distance to all of the noise. They also refunded the third night of another of our rooms because two of my companions found a place to stay elsewhere. Overall, it is not a bad hotel, just inquire ahead of time if they are still under renovation.

Great value and location for winter visit
Booked this as I was flying into Dublin for a quick winter visit. The location was excellent, the staff was friendly and despite being on the top floor, I never waited long for the elevator. The bed was comfortable, shower was hot, and I appreciated the water, cookies and coffee in the room. Given the location, I didn’t mind that the restaurant/bar were under construction and even the day I spent a lot of time in the room, wasn’t disturbed by noise.

Great location and staff
Hotel was really nice and I thought it was reasonably priced considering it's location. It was also alot quieter than I thought too which was a bonus. Staff were very friendly and room had plenty of added extras to make our stay more pleasant. The only problem we faced was that there was no water at all between the hours of 9am and 12pm, therefore we could not use the shower, flush the toilet or use the sink between these times.

Rooms not sound proof and hence very noisy
The room was modern and of great size with all amenities needed for a single room. Nice big bath and shower. Would have given 5 star, only reason for not doing that is the room wasn’t sound proof and hence very noisy until quite late in the morning till the live music was ongoing in the downstairs pub of the hotel. So the sleep wasn’t good and does not help when someone is working the next day.

Is this legal?
The hotel takes a 100 euro deposit on arrival - you will only be notified of this once you book They dont just take your credit card details - they take the money from your card ,Although the email clearly states that it will be returned once housekeeping check your room , its actually takes 3 to 5 five days for the money to be returned . I have never encountered this in any hotel either in Ireland or abroad - neither has anyone I know, and I would question the legality of this practice

Great choice if you’re a solo traveler!
Great place to stay for a solo traveler. It’s in the middle of everything if you like pubs/bars. It is connected to a Bar and while I could hear the music in the elevator I did not hear the music once in my room. The room definitely could not accommodate more than 3 people. Two people at most because the bathroom is a closet. However, it suited my needs and a great choice for a night or two.
