Disappointing!
The room looked lovely, and the bed was comfortable,
However, it was a very cold night and the room took a long while to warm up.
We could not get any cold water from the tap. There was a laminated sheet giving information for room service but no information on how to use various items in the room.
The bedroom and bathroom had an adjoining wall, with windows and there was no separate light for the toilet. Therefore the bathroom lights disturbed the other persons sleep.
Eventually, we rang reception for help with the tap. Michael answered, and calmly explained that the water in the bathroom was always warm and there was two 600 ml bottles of water in the fridge for all our needs. Luckily we had bought water with us.
The warm water was not hot enough to shave.
We have visitors at our home, in Castle Donington and have spent 4 nights in local hotels. We saved the Raddison for our last night, expecting it to be the best but sadly it wasn’t.
We were told at checkout that it was a accessible room, which we had not requested.
