The hotel was horrible. Full of cobwebs and dirt. The walls were all scratched up and damaged. The advertisement claims a see view however that is not the case. It’s also hard to find as the building shown on the picture not it, it’s connected to that. Avoid at all cost

Decent structure. Prices high, but this seems to be a common feature of Amsterdam. By the way, if the Amsterdam tourist tax per day is 18.77 €, what should I pay in Rome or Florence? 1800 € per day?!

Good hotel. Staff were helpful. Room was comfortable. Due to the lay out of the hotel getting to my room on floor 6 using 2 lifts felt a bit of a palava.

Bad service when we checked in. Not even a smile or hello. Really bad standard in the room and not very clean. Bad smell. Aircondition did not work and all they could do was to give us a fan. Could not open the window as many big mosquitos outside. 28 degrees inside the room. Nice view and easy to get to city centre by tram.

Really lovely comfortable room and fabulous breakfast. On the downside there is construction around the hotel which makes it look a bit messy. It’s also not easy to find the entrance to the building as the hotel is on the top two floors. There aren’t really places to eat anywhere near. Having said that it was good value for money being slightly out of the centre, and an easy 10min tram ride to centraal station.

We were visiting friends and wanted a place near their home. This was a great location so close to the tram that we could either walk to their house and feel like a local at the surrounding shops and cafes or jump on a tram and be in the heart of Amsterdam in 10-15 minutes. We always love staying away from the crowd and this was awesome. The chef prepared Dutch pancakes for me as well even though he was only making American pancakes. Great infused waters and a nice buffet. All around great experience sitting in their lobby area looking at the beautiful view from the 8th floor.

Rooms without hotel hospitality

Experience - Construction work next to Amadi Panorama meant that we were woken up very early in the mornings from the extremely loud noises. We asked for another room facing the city instead because of this issue and were initially told that we could only to be denied later after wasting time waiting around for the check-in time. Bathrobes were missing from our rooms and when asked for were told they would be sent to our rooms - no such luck there either. The front desk staff are polite but unfriendly and the owner/manager makes sure his presence of intimidation is observed. Luckily it was only a 2 night stay - but without the rest and no peace/quiet. The positive - clean. Conclusion - Not fit for a business trip if phone calls/online meetings want to be made from room and not fit for a quick leisurely trip if you want to sleep past 7am.

Nothing special

Hotel is getting quite old. After a summer day in Amsterdam the rooms get really hot but the airco was barely functioning. Prepare for hot nights during summer. Refrigerator wasn’t working and quite dirty.

I did not have a very good check in process at all. The Hotel is not clearly marked from the street, steps leading up to the lifts, difficult with luggage. I had to park in a loading zone to go to reception to get access to the parking. The area around the hotel was not what I expected, i was not comfortable walking around on my own at all.

Slight disappoint about the cleanliness

We booked 4 nights in a row. The hotel is near to the tram station which is great to travel to Amsterdam Central in 18mins. The receptionist is super friendly. But was slight disappoint by the cleanliness as we discovered there’s a cockroach inside the room and we did told after check out and they didn’t mentioned any compliment or refund towards the incident. It’s quite odd to have insect/ cockroaches in European country but we’re terrified by the incident.

The Hotel is managed from young people without experience rather then, playing on their phone while they are on work time. The Air Con was out of order. The carpet on the floor was dirty and smelly. I asked gently to take actions for both issues, but nothing was done.

Property was advertised as 4 star but it is no where near to that standard. The room has issues like wardrobes and furniture were having damages. Cleaning was done but one day part done and other day fully done. There were maintenance planned but we were not informed and neither was reception aware of it. It happened on two days. Overall the quality was not upto the mark.

Hotel is located in a calm and secure area and also close to local transportation. There is no car park of the hotel, you need to park your car in a public car park with a daily fee. A/C and fridge did not work. I reported that 2 times but nobody did a thing about it. At the end they only put a small fan to our big room. Hotel is part of a residential building, only last 2 floors, 7th and 8th. The enterance to the building is a little bit creepy…

Our first room smelled like sulfur but that was rectified quickly by giving us a new room. Out new room obviously had water issues in the ceiling, we had to create a damn with towels at the shower threshold because water would go everywhere, the elevator buttons wound be removed in the evenings to stop hotel guests from using the elevator due to permanent residence in the building being irritated with hotel guests using “their” elevator. The bathroom was surrounded by glass so if you were in the main area of the room you could see your travel companion sitting on the toilet or taking a shower. The location was close to the tram, which came in handy as there are not a lot of food options in the hotel area.

Bed stained with strange yellow fluids, shower completely blocked. I had to use all of my towels to mop up the water and stop the carpet from getting wet. A maintenance man came and plunged the shower drain for me, this fixed it, but no offer to replace my towels, and no offer to clean up the water that was all over the bathroom floor. The same plunger was used to plunge the toilet and then the shower. He wore boots in the flooded area, tracking dirty water into the carpet of my room. Afterward, I was advised to call reception, but the phone in my room didn’t work. I had to walk down to reception, feeling unclean and uncomfortable, to request new towels. It took another 30 minutes for them to be delivered. To make matters worse, the toilet had not been cleaned, there was a stain from a previous guest. I could not possibly recommend staying at this hotel.
