The hotel is not for older people. They do not have time for grownups without children to cool out and look at the stars. The children and there were more children than adults at 10 pm. So it was not relaxing. The hot tubs were not at were not at the temp advertised. They were below temp and were lukewarm at best. The noise from the upstairs was bleeding through a lot. I could hear parts of conversations. I was not informed on booking that there are two properties and you had to take a walk to the other property for a hot tub or breakfast. The reception desk did not know any of the info about the area. He points us to other places in town to pick up info for our stay. And now the flies were all over our food for breakfast. They need to invest in a screendoor and fly traps.

Pee pee! Motel
Oh my gosh! We have stayed here many times in the past. We arrived for a double birthday celebration as always. Our first night , we got ready for bed late. Lobby closes at 9:30. Around midnight I went to get into bed, only to find a towel in between the top sheet and fitted sheet, covering a pee stain, that’s right, urine in my bed. Tried calling someone to fix, At least bring clean sheets, nothing! I was told by night emergency guy, that , that wasn’t an emergency and that he could check me out immediately. This is after midnight now.i hung up on him, not knowing what to do? Next day, no apology or even an acknowledgment of the situation, imagine finding pee in your bed??? So we are there 2 days, and the gm ( emergency guy) can’t be bothered to talk to us. We will never go back! I thought it was important to share, in case you all wanted to know about Twin Peaks in Ouray, Co. Side note, we tried to talk to someone, a manager, someone in charge, anyone who could remedy the problem… still haven’t had anyone reach out! #neveragain!

A great place, but a bit of a dichotomy
Great place to stay with awesome hot springs and pools. A great breakfast with lots of choices as well. On the could be better side, the rooms are functional but showing some age wear. Our room had uneven, sloping floors. We booked the room that had spa and breakfast included and that was a great deal. Also walking close to restaurants and to box canon.

Never experienced a kiosk check in before. Lots of disclaimers to brush through that seemed unnecessary. Staff sensed my annoyance and provided directions to our room. It was two blocks away and we passed it twice trying to find it behind a shed structure. Had to walk two blocks to breakfast.

All i will say...youre not a Las Vegas resort, quit acting like you can behave that way. Its a decent property. It seems they have found every possible way to nickel and dime you to death. Smart business? No, not really. Many other comparable options available.

You stay here for the hot spring pools and the location to downtown, however the rooms are very small and outdated! Our room appeared to not have been updated since the early 1980s and was very cramped inside. The breakfast was alright, although we stayed there for 3 days and they never had butter or cream cheese to put on any of the toast or bagels. I could understand running out 1 day, but would expect those basic condiments to be replenished by the next day.

Good but not great.
Room was clean and comfortable but a little dated. Cold air and light coming in around entry door. Not all rooms in the "Riverview" building have a view of the river and is located a half block away from the pools and restaurant making it less convenient to enjoy the facilities. The price was a bit expensive for the room we stayed in. I would recommend staying in the rooms close to the pools and dining.

Absolutely incredible hot springs and pools, the best we have experienced in Colorado in terms of facilities, views, variety of temperatures. Great pool side bar, breakfast buffet was wonderful. This is our new "go to" location in Colorado!

The accommodations were nice, the staff was wonderful and the pools amazing. I just didn't think it was worth $300+ per night, and I was shocked that the robes in the closet cost extra if you used them. It was overall very nice.
