Stay was very nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommend their breakfast as it was very good. They have a very garden like dining area. Vey peaceful during breakfast. Location is close to all the tourist sites and parks (within walking distance). Parking in parking lot across from the property, very safe. Room was large, with a fridge. Staff spoke English and I spoke some Spanish. We had NO problem communicating. I did improve my Spanish speaking. Definitely a must for a visit. Also chance to mingle with the Cuban people for better understanding of their culture and life. They are a very happy and friendly people.

Sehr persönliche und charmante Betreuung
Die Casa Colonial ist eine wunderbare Unterkunft. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich und offen und versuchen, jeden Wunsch für ihre Gäste zu organisieren (Fahrdienste, Salsa-Stunden, Restaurantempfehlungen). Wir waren also den 1. Abend im Restaurant und versuchten dann das hauseigene Restaurant. Dort bekamen wir sehr leckeres und sehr preiswert Essen (wir empfehlen das Menu im Hof des Hauses). Die Zimmer sind sehr charmant; und hier ist der einzige Haken: sie sind sehr laut! Fast alle Zimmer liegen an der Straße, und weil die Autos in Kuba so laute Motoren haben, dröhnt das mächtig... Also: Ohropax in Kuba nicht vergessen!
