Great area to walk for a lot of great sites
Great location for walking. the hotel was under construction so no restaurant or bar. Great customer service. Was able to get into room a little earlier on check in date which helped with luggage. Front desk was very helpful.

Choose elsewhere for a getaway weekend
We arrived and were greeted by a very nice young man who was able to give us recommendation for local pub still open for food. Was amazing. When we got to our room it was late and upon brushing teeth noticed the water took a very long time to drain which we figured could just be how that hotel was, fine. Night two upon getting back in we noticed that there was a smell and residue in the bathroom sink so when we left for dinner we informed them at front desk what happened (slow drain, back up and foul smell) and that they were okay to enter to check. When we returned they said it was fixed. When we got back to room the sink was clean and it drained much better. Half our towels were gone including the washcloths. About an hour later I went into bathroom and saw this residue in the sink. No clue what is happening there but was little frustrated since did not have anything to clean it up and it was already late. We were then just ready to leave. The front desk apologized but then their reason was "We are working out the "Knicks and renovating" Another item that bothered me was that I got an email that pool was closed until late May. We checked in and it was again open EXCEPT that Saturday there was a wedding taking place there. It was a holiday weekend. The pool area was very disappointing with a small pool and only a handful of lounge chairs. No food or drink options either. If wanting to get away for weekend and relax by pool this is NOT the place for you.

Did not meet expectations
Having extensive renovations during our stay, which I would have liked to have known about prior to booking because nearly every amenity was either in a temporary or alternative condition (e.g., lounge was relocated to a banquet hall), or even unavailable. The elevator to the parking garage was out; the entrance/atrium was completely hidden by construction zone walls. Staff was clueless and couldn't answer basic questions about the surrounding area or parking garage. Room was pretty clean and comfortable though. This was my first time going to a Westin and I probably won't be returning as I've had better service and experience at much cheaper hotels.

Great Experience at The Westin!
Our stay at The Westin was excellent. Staff was friendly and welcoming, the hotel was clean and a great location for restaurants/bars within walking distance, and the Valet was very prompt getting our car. Our hotel room was immaculate and the bed was extremely comfortable. We also enjoyed being able to connect to Netflix, YouTube, and other streaming services on the TV. We will be staying here again!

Westin for the win!
All of the front desk staff that we spoke to were great, very knowledgeable about the area and things to do around the hotel and further outside of the city. The room was great, looks very new. Clean, modern but still had a cozy feel. Beds were great and the huge window with city views was really nice. Very walkable to several restaurants and shopping outlets. The hotel is under renovation however the hotel communicated several times the hours that would be impacted, as well as which amenities would be unavailable, the construction never bothered us. overall loved the stay and would recommend to anyone!
