Not what it used to be
We have stated here many times, while it was a Kimpton Hotel. Unfortunately, the staff at the entrance were not very welcoming; they were more likely to be officious and demanding and not friendly. They used to be funny, helpful and a joy to talk to. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful The room was fine, but overall the hotel was a bit run down compared to previous visits.

Beautiful hotel, just tiny rooms
The hotel was beautiful. Security was there, and that made you feel safe. Room was clean. Staff was helpful. The room and bathroom were very small, but we weren't in our room long so it wasn't too inconvenient.

Shitshow Valet
DO NOT STAY HERE! When we first arrived, the valet guys refused to take our bags out of the car until we checked in so we went inside and upstairs and checked in. When we returned for our bags, the car was gone. They “totally forgot, oh my God” even though they told us they would hold the car there until we checked in. 20 minutes later they brought our car back and still refused to get the bags out and help us up to the room. No bellhop service. We took all our luggage up ourselves. At checkout time, we called the # on the valet ticket from our room and requested the car and were told OK. When we went down to check out and collect the car, our keys were at the front desk and staff member Hetal said there were no valet staff present that day and we would have to walk (with our luggage) to the garage ourselves and FIND our car. She also had no idea where it was parked. I do not blame her and she was very kind and apologetic but WHAT THE HELL? We ended up going to the garage, which has 12 FLOORS, and had to literally check every floor for the car before finally finding it after an hour. We were so relieved to have found it but then were not allowed to leave the garage because we didn’t have a garage ticket and were expected to pay two full days of parking despite already being charged valet fee at hotel. We only had the valet ticket provided by the hotel. FINALLY a manager appeared and checked our valet ticket and let us out. DO NOT STAY HERE! UNACCEPTABLE!!
