This hotel was amazing from the breakfast to the customer service!! I decided to leave my hiking boots behind because they were so old and the woman at the front desk thought I forgot them and drove all the way to meet us at the train station to give them to me! Talk about going above and beyond. And oh, the freaking view from our room was to die for. We had a hard time leaving it to head out for the day. Hands down totally recommend this hotel!! :)

Excellent value and service !
Enjoyed my 2 nights stay here during my visit to Grindelwald with my 2 dogs. The service was excellent and every staffs are friendly. The hotel and rooms are little dated but gives a cozy, warm and traditional vibes. The breakfast is okay, free coffee anytime, comfortable beds and I’ve got a room with a fantastic view of the 3 mountains - very up close and majestic even at night when the moon shines bright and accompanied by the stars The hotel is some distance from the station or terminal but they gave free passes for busses. It’s not too far off the main road but a steep climb so if you’re visiting with a car during winter, snow tires/chains are a must
