Staff at the hotel were very helpful, especially the lady on reception when we arrived, think she was called Diane. Very informative about the hotel and the city. Nice spacious clean room.

Theft by cleaning staff from my room
My money was stolen from my closed luggage from the hotel room. I asked for cleaning and 2 cleaning women came into my room after I left to go out to eat and when I came back to my room was missing from my luggage that was closed. So the cleaning women opened my luggage and searched for valuables. I called police, to report the theft. The hotel management told me that they are not responsible for valuables left in the room and they have no insurance for theft. They also don’t have safety boxes in the room. The tourist police is useless in Porto and they don’t investigate crime, and the hotel management also told me they can’t do anything to reimburse me, so the thieves got away with 600 euros and nobody cares. Even after when I told the management about the theft and called the police, the 2 women who stole my money from my luggage continued to work in the hotel. I don’t recommend this hotel to anyone because the cleaning staff opens bags and steals from guests!!!

We found room was dusty, it could have done with a clean wipe before we checked in. Otherwise it was a lovely hotel. Breakfast was better than previous stay in Holiday Inn Express at Saldahna in Lisbon.

It was in the centre of town and you could walk almost anywhere. The WiFi was great and the breakfast was good. There was a kettle in the room so you could your own tea if you wanted.

Hotel was well situated right on the corner of the pedestrianized shopping area and close to plenty of bars and restaurants, the room was clean and in excellent condition with attentive and knowledgeable staff. The buffet breakfast was extremely good.
