Pleasant stay here the staff was helpful and the location is very central. Downtown area can get a little scary at night however a parking can be tough but otherwise our room was clean and beds comfy.

First time staying at property. Front desk staff was very welcoming. The room was clean. The bar/dinning area was clean and food was good. The property location was centrally located. The next time in San Diego, I will stay again at this property.

8/10 Very good

The room was simple but nice. I appreciate the wood flooring. Located close to the airport in within walking distance to many places. The bar is nice however, the food at the restaurant wasn’t my favorite. Would I stay again – sure.

8/10 Very good

Friendly reception desk and fresh water dispenser appreciated. One of the elevators was not working so it made checking out with luggage slow. The dining and bar area looked uninviting. Location in Little Italy was good for walking to other restaurants.

8/10 Very good

We were on the ninth floor, which was nice. Parking and instructions were pretty clear. Only downsides were the sink kept clogging so the water would go down really slowly, and the electrical outlets in the restroom didn't work at all, so we had to call and have them fix it which they did promptly. It was super close to the airport, which was super convenient. Location wise it is good, but it is pretty pricey.

10/10 Exceptional

The room and the hotel itself was clean and well furnished. Staff were very polite and useful. On-site amenities were good, but the dining area was small and sometimes oversubscribed at breakfast time. Food catered on site was good quality and value. The pantry stocked a mature of essentials and snacks at a reasonable price. The location is ideal for travel into downtown via walking or public transport, and excellent for travel into the wider San Diego area by car/uber. Those who are planning to regularly walk from the hotel should be aware that the hotel sits up-hill on 1st Avenue, so while walking away from the hotel towards downtown is easy, the walk back can be more strenuous.

Took early check in fees from us even though rooms were available which is not a regular practice in other hotels, otherwise all good, great location too!

8/10 Very good

Our room was clean and all was fine throughout our stay, but we didn’t have a visit from housekeeping until the night before our 5 day stay was over. I don’t know why we didn’t have a visit and a refreshed supply of towels, toilet paper etc until right before our checkout. Otherwise, stay was totally fine and uneventful.

6/10 Good

I loved the staff they were all very friendly. I’m not sure if the ac was broken in the lobby area but it was so warm downstairs when we went to the bar area for a drink and meal. The bartender had a fan on him from how hot it was but the drinks and meal were delicious. The room itself was great with a nice view but we did find we had dirty sheets I understand we are in a hotel where MANY people stay but I think the sheets should be cleaned at least so people can feel comfortable with the cleanliness and want to come back. Overall it was still a great stay just some things can be adjusted. Great staff, great food and drinks and a good room too
