Highly Recommend
Stayed with Mayelin and her great family for 3 weeks, room was great with comfortable bed, ac and large private bathroom. Breakfast is included daily consisting of egg as well as ham if that is your preference, a fruit bowl, fresh fruit juice and coffee. Considering I paid the equivalent of £10 per day for the room this was a great deal, the family also helps you book taxis and save money by avoiding the many scammers which unfortunately persist in Havana, I would recommend booking a room with a family rather than hotel as you get to know the authentic Cuba as well as help the families by booking with them.

to Malecón
Location was perfect. Close to the Malecón and blocks from the Prado. Bus stop across from home. Family very accommodating and friendly. Room was nice. High ceiling and large bathroom. Beds and pillows were a bit lumpy and uncomfortable which is not so different than other casa particulars. Breakfast was okay. Suggests in future they included fruit.
