It was fine, we were supposed to get a double room, but got two kings, which was a nice surprise. Otherwise, not a well maintained hotel, definitely not that nice, but clean enough and fine for 1 night.

We have stayed at the Don Valley Hotel and Suites several times in past few years and always enjoy the experience. It is very good value. The room balconies and the pool washrooms need refurbishing but the rooms are clean , comfortable and quiet . The friendly staff are helpful re instructions to nearby sites. We will go there again. Cleaning staff was very nice and checked in with us daily. Indoor pool was clean and deep, we enjoyed this. Hotel is in need of some upgrades and repairs, add makes it look a lot nicer than it is. Booked a deluxe room but same as a regular room, we travelled with other couples. Lobby restaurant/bar was decent food. Room service was ordered but never arrived. This hotel came up when searching close to downtown but it is not close 20-30 minutes drive each way.
