The hotel is really nice. The room and beds comfortable, location great to catch a train in walking distance to the city. The staff was not unfriendly, but with some I noticed that maybe because of not speaking English well, could not express themselves correctly and came over almost rude at times. Front of the house staff in a ‘Hilton’ hotel must either speak English better or they need to be trained in customer service (service attitude, patience and service mentality) Overall, we liked it very much and we hope we can return.

We checked in and out with Ramsey (given early check in and early rise to get to the alps). Excellent service from the beginning with good advice on local food, transport and shopping. The room is a standard layout with comfortable beds. The view of the Danube is beautiful (even in winter). The bathroom has a bath and shower with hot hot water and all of the soaps, body wash and lotions needed. The room has ample storage space and a safe, iron and ironing board (full-size) and desk. Internet is at great speed and easily accessible for all devices. Cleaning happens daily and we didn’t see them but it happened and was to a good standard We ate at the waterfront on the second night. It was reasonably priced for a hotel, service was great and the menu had a good selection. We ordered the schnitzel the goulash and the soup. All were delicious and large portions with the wife saying the goulash was the best she has had in Vienna! The area it is in is a little industrial/high density residential but it is close to both the stadion and krieau stations both within walking distance. But taxi, Uber and busses are also around. If you hire a car there’s parking underneath for around 25€ for 24h. Getting to and from the airport is easy via the CAT which drops off and picks up in landstrasse (landstraße) station. Grab your tickets online as there is an additional cost at both ends. Check out was smooth with Ramsey and overall our stay was fantastic. Thanks to Ramsey and the team.

We arrived in the morning, well before regular check in time, after an overnight flight from the United States. We expected to have to drop our luggage in storage and return later to check in. The front desk was able to find an available room for us, so we could get a shower and short nap before heading out to explore Vienna.
