Hotel was great. Staff was friendly and the room was very comfortable and large enough for 3 adults to relax in between events. It would have been nice to be able to get food on the premises (other than room service) but there are enough restaurants in the area that you can easily get to. Will definitely stay again.
When we first checked in they said our room would be ready by 3pm but we didn't get our room until 3:30pm. Other than that service and staff were great.
First the good; the room and the building are gorgeous. I prefer the lighter decor. The view was AMAZING (cathedral view). We spent much of our time in the room just admiring the beautiful view! The staff was very friendly. I felt that I was in a safe neighborhood near many attractions (radio city, shopping, restaurants). Now the not so good; the premium channels are NOT cable channels. There are about 20 channels and 5 of them are news stations and a few others are channels I've never even heard of. So we pay the $16 surcharge for UNSECURED wifi figuring we'll just plug in our Chromecast and stream our own tv. After much troubleshooting we get a message that Chromecast is not available with their internet (too slow), so that was a waste of money. There were 5 pay for movies and none of them suited our tastes. There is no refrigerator, coffee/tea maker or microwave.

Beautiful hotel, staff pays attention!, 5 star concierge treatment, huge rooms for new York, pricey, pricey for room service, easy check in and check out.
