Could have been better…
It was not a great stay for the amount we paid. $700 CAD for two nights. The room we had originally had a small window that overlooked the back alley and other backs of buildings. The lights were broken and came on randomly throughout the night even when they were switched off. The safe and shelf under it were also broken and unusable. The worse was when the shower backed up and flooded the whole bathroom and adjoining sleeping area. Maintenance was called and we were offered another room which was an upgrade but we still lost half the day waiting around for this to happen. I did ask for some sort of compensation and was offered free breakfast for our stay and a 10% refund on our stay. Overall the staff was pleasant and tried to make it right. The Royal Ramblas hotel is in a great location but does get a bit of noise from the underground trains and the average rooms need to be renovated and repaired. I might consider staying there again if the prices were a bit better.

Everything was great in the hotel. The rooms are beautifully done. The staff is very nice. Breakfast is excellent. I highly recommend And of course the location.

Great location and staff were fantastic. Upgraded room so very impressed. Didn’t do breakfast at hotel so many places to eat at or supermarket just doors down La Ramblas. Only issue was getting a lift on checkout took ages so ended up carrying suitcases down stairs lucky only on level 1. Also too many checking out at same time had to wait a bit. But overall fantastic stay we going back in three weeks after our cruise.
