Decent
Great location for exploring downtown and the waterfront by foot. Close to transit for concerts at the Modo. Room was a little warm though and had to open windows as the thermometer was not effective. Overall decent stay, we enjoyed the quirky pineapple branding.

It was wonderful! We will stay there again next time. Staff was very friendly and went over the top to make our visit pleasant. Steve in particular was great. It was our anniversary weekend and he gave us early check in and had strawberries and champagne sent to our room complimentary!!😄

Quick overnight trip
Hotel is nice. Room is a little small but we weren't in it the whole time. Bed is comfortable, nice that we each had our own blanket to cover up with. Walking distance to a lot of places. A little spend, but it is in downtown Portland, right across the road from the river,, great view. Had to keep the window open a crack to keep room from getting too hot which made for a noisy wake up in the morning. Overall a good place to stay and would stay again.

Stinking Rose
The hotel does not have AC as hotels.com says. After sweating my face off all night in an 85 degree room that had the thermostat set to 60 I was then told the hotel doesn't have AC and that the thermostat is actually an on/off switch and to turn the heater off I would have to turn it all the way up to 90 to shut it off. While being explained that the couple behind me checking out laughed and commented that they were uncomfortably hot the whole stay and didn't know why. The bed comes with just two super awkward comforters and no other blanket, so you are pretty much destined to cook while sleeping. I had to leave the windows and curtains open all night and still the room was 70 degrees and with the comforters uncomfortable. Which then also results in horrible road noise from the city all night. To top it off my smoke detector would beep every hour all night. The staff was courteous and sweet, but this was one of the most horrible hotels i've slept at in a long time. Also, the shower set up is awful and awkward. The only plus aside from the great staff was the giant tv that I could watch while dying of heat stroke.
