This hotel is run down. Also why no breakfast? For this price I paid, I would have expected breakfast included. Instead, we have pretty dismal coffee, horrible creamer for it, etc. Really poor in that regard.

Charged me an extra $450!!!
I have stayed at this Candlewood Suites many times over the past year with only minor issues (overbooking, room keys not working, etc.). However, when I stayed on 11/30/22, the front desk attendant was having difficulty getting the computer system to process my card for incidentals (which is supposed to be a $150 hold on my account). After she tried several times, I checked my bank account and found that it had actually processed and $450 was removed from my account. Despite telling her this, she ran it again and another $150 was removed from my account for a total of $600. I was extremely upset about this but the only thing she would tell me was that the money would be returned to my account in 3-5 business days. I asked her to have her manager call me as soon as possible because I did not authorize the business to hold an extra $450 above and beyond the $150 they say they charge for incidentals and I needed my money returned promptly. She said that she would pass my information along to the manager. On 12/1, I did not receive a call from the manager so I called and left a message. On 12/2, I still did not receive a call and when I called the hotel, I was told that there is no manager there at this time (around 3:30pm). I realize that the money is in a temporary hold and will eventually be returned but it is unconscionable to me that a business could overcharge and so greatly inconvenience their customer and not make every effort to immediately rectify the situation.
