This hotel was very nicely located near to the Convention Center where my conference was being held. I was also close to access to the Riverwalk. The king suite was very large, and nicely laid out. The AC worked great. The room was showing some wear. The desk chair was worn, and outlets on the desk did not work. The breakfast was good, but it was exactly the same every morning, without any change. The hotel was quiet although there was some traffic noise from the freeway which was noticeable at night.

Place was more than I expected at such an affordable rate. Staff was helpful and friendly (upgraded my room for free because they ran out of the room type I reserved before I arrived). Close to just about everything, comfortable room and bed, cold AC, good free breakfast. Only drawback was the pot stench in the bathroom - but that seems to be an unfortunate common factor with just about every hotel these days....

Here is my take: plus, more minuses. Plus: great location! Minus-1: Same breakfast every day. Hotel scrambled eggs and poor quality sausage. Minus-2: Housekeeping, No basic daily service. Trash, bathroom amenities. Minus-3: Overall condition of the property. Needs an update, tired , worn furniture, curtains (holes in blackout curtains), etc.. So, would I stay here again? Possibly, but I would seek other options first
