    Bedrooms are dated and tired.

    The hotel looks great in the reception and lobby. There is a 24hr bar and starbucks coffee. But the bedrooms are dated and tired. It's about time they stopped using shower curtains, which are unhygienic especially in these times that we are living in.

    Not happy.

    The hotel was beautiful and so was the room, the people were lovely there. But I’m not happy with the food situation as we ate dinner there and my chicken burger was pink. And also the next day me and my boyfriend went down for breakfast way before it was meant to finish at 11. And they said there was nothing left so we couldn’t have any breakfast nor was there anything at the Starbucks in the hotel so we had to pay out and order food online from somewhere else. Baring in mind the bundle we got with our room was free dinner for 2 people per night snd free breakfast so I payed extra for our room for the dinner included etc and breakfast yet we never got the breakfast. Other than that everything else was good but I’m just really not happy that I payed over £104 and we didn’t even get our breakfast in with it as we didn’t get what we payed for so wasn’t worth the money just for one night.

    Shabby exterior is deceptive.

    The hotel's exterior shabbiness belies a decent interior. Staff were very helpful and friendly especially the excellent and efficient breakfast staff. Breakfast was very good for a buffet with frequently refreshed food trays. The room was comfy and clean but bizarrely had extra coffee pods without a machine to use them in.

    Entrance is that dirty it looks closed / derelict, tried to have lunch as room not ready and chef said ‘we don’t do gluten free’, room had only 2 coat hangers and no hooks behind door or on wall, room ok, could have been better, chef competence and bad attitude to a clinical condition is disgusting and unacceptable

    Great hotel but needs some tlc and inspection

    Apart from a few things in the hotel room was damaged or didn’t work, the front desk was pleasing enough to rectify it. I think some inspection to the condition of the rooms are needed by management as my room some of the wallpaper was torn or coming away.

    Theatre stay

    Regularly stay at Holiday Inn or Express but this hotel was tired and could do with a little tlc. The corridors needed hoovering actually looked dirty. Service was good and staff friendly. The room was large but oddly laid out. It was difficult to see the wall mounted tv from the bed. Breakfast was ok but could have been warmer. Overall ok and will still go to Holiday Inns.
