Platos weekend
Platos is a lovely hotel with a great atmosphere and very welcoming. Food, staff and rooms are lovely. Our only suggestion would be to add another lamp in our room ( it was quite dark) and a mirror beside the dressing table would have been a help. The only mirror was in the bathroom which made hair drying a bit difficult.

Platos and Kirby Lonsdale. Superb find indeed.
Never been to Kirby Lonsdale and would never have stumbled across it if we hadn’t found Platos whilst browsing online for some where to stay close to the Lakes. Needless to say KB is a beautiful place surrounded by great walks and our base at Platos was surperb. Absolute nothing to fault from the welcoming service, helping us with our bags, the staff, the atmosphere, cleanliness, background tunes, quality of the food, the breakfast was to die for. Highly recommended.

The staff were very very friendly and helpful. The food was very good . It was a bit noisy at night but there had been earplugs provided. . Overall an enjoyable weekend.

The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Perfect location. Amazing food! The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be returning with all the family! Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic breakfast. Choice was wide and the cooked breakfast was delicious. The scones were very very good and the raspberry jam was amazing! A mix up over the bedroom was sorted out but a non working kettle was not replaced.
