Just fine
Good stay. Unfortunately we arrived early on our first day and they would not let anyone check in early. Disappointing but they let us check bags so we understood. Lobby bathroom was absolutely disgusting with 3 roaches running around! This made us very hesitant for our stay but honestly everything else was good. Beds were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was small but clean. Housekeeping woke us by knocking on the door at 9 am on our check out date…check out is 12 so that was a pain. Only other thing was there were no outlets by the bed. We had to unplug the bedside lamps from the extension cord to charge our phones or had to charge them in the bathroom overnight. Ridiculous for a hotel…especially one that has a “resort fee”. No on site food/drinks so not sure it was much of a resort. It was a fine stay, all good just a crazy price for what it was.

Great location and value hotel.
The Beacon Hotel was a very good place to stay in Washington DC. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable. The cleaners were very helpful and efficient. The location was very good for the sightseeing that we did as there was always a metro stop that was close by. The neighborhood is beautiful and there are great restaurants within walking distance.
