Not worth the price to pay for a short stay
Stayed at Mookai Suites to explore Malé city to explore after an amazing stay on the Maldives island. Firstly, location wise it is good as most tourist attractions are within walking distance and you can easily get around using google maps. Much better to walk rather then taking a cab as the roads are narrow and may have traffic jams during certain hours. I compare this stay to the one in Hulhumale called Vilu Rest and felt that it is not worth to pay USD120/night as compared to USD45/night. The room conditions in Mookai Suites felt similar to Vilu Rest. The only difference is the size of the room. Do not be fooled by the living room space, it is actually shared between 2 guest rooms and not exclusive to each guest room. Hence a lack of privacy. Hospitality wise I felt that there wasn’t a contrasting difference apart from a welcome drink offered. I would definitely preferred to have saved up and book another accomodation.
