Cool industrial vibe hotel - needs improvements.
The staff was very kind and helpful, however, I feel like the bathroom shower could have been cleaned a little better and the windows were held in with screws and looked moldy at the bottom. We stayed for three nights and maid service was not available. My friends had an interior room without a window and said it felt a little claustrophobic. The walls are thin. We were woken up by our neighbors several times during the night if you know what I mean. Otherwise, the place is quite charming with a cool industrial vibe and has a convenient coffee bar in the lobby and an amazing restaurant. It's close to the casino and a short walk to Bourbon and Royal Streets.

Old-School Nice Hotel
Definitely a taste of old-school New Orleans here. Looks like it was improvised from an old factory or something, yet room are spacious with touches from the past. Bed was comfortable and breakfast downstairs (though not free) was very good. Will stay here again when in town!

It’s fine but you can do better
Staff was friendly enough. Upon seeing my first room, there were no windows even though the photo on Hotels.com had a window in it. When I asked the front desk they moved me to a different part of the hotel. I felt like I was in a horror movie as there were no lights off the elevator, a really bad smell of mold/mildew, stains all over the really old carpet, and brick walls. The room was fine, though nothing special for the price. My husband had the delightful experience of killing a giant cockroach while on the toilet in our room.

The carpet is gross and is heavily sprayed with something similar to Febreeze. Not sure which is worse - chemicals or mildew?
This is the view coming off the elevator into the dark hallway and the window. It’s creepy af. Don’t do it alone if you don’t like haunted house vibes.

Maybe not again…
I live old character but this place ix very industrial and not quite my vibe. The lobby is also the restaurant lobby so it’s loud. The room in the Lafayette side was big but only had a small window looking out to a wall with several floors above do very limited natural light. No maid service in a 2-night stay. Also a very loud noise recurring all night like some machinery trying to start up. Woke me several times and I never wake up for noises! Told the desk at checkout and it was news to him. Carpets in the halls need to be replaced. Not a terrible place but I don’t think I’d stay here again.
