Very basic for the price
Hotel is quite dated. Breakfast area is very basic looking, constantly overcrowded with long queues to get a table and you may end up sitting in a nearby dark dining room with no windows or décor. Very unreliable WiFi network.

Horrible Experience
We had 3 rooms booked and all of us were dissapointed on so many levels. The hotel is extremely outdated. The shower is unreliable as the water goes from freezing cold to scolding hot randomly. There was mold on the shower walls and the toilet seat was broken. The WiFi is absolutely horrible in the rooms. We were promised several times that someone would come and "check the router", which never happened. Don't count on being able to do any work in your room. The staff at the front doors will try to force you to take a private Lexus taxi service as they get a commission from this. Do not fall for this trick as the Lexus drivers charge 8 times the fee of regular meter taxi. This place gives Dubai a horrible image. We will never return to this hotel again.

I have chose to stay in this hotel thought it's under the IHG Hotels umbrella as I always loyal to but not so to Crowne Plaza Dubai... Staff are friendly, services are fine. We stayed in the club floor but found the room is aging in need of urgent update, wobbly wood floor, broken carpet, devastated bathroom

Overall ok, very nice staff, good gym. But the hotel itself is far from 5 stars, 4 is much more reasonable. Sets higher expectation when they say 5, feels old and outdated, rooms and hallways not the freshest. Had to change rooms due to smell and cleanliness.

The hotel is ok for a night, however the bathroom was definitely not cleaned properly and the condition of the property overall is dated. The staff seem inexperienced as it took a long time to check in and then I had to return to the counter because they forgot something. Not exactly on standard with other crowne plaza hotels.
