The hotel was clean but it felt like a Premier Inn (but pricier). The staff both at check in and check out were not up to the job. We had to remind the check out lady to book a taxi for us. She told us to sit and wait but she forgot to order a taxi. We got the taxi in the end but her actitud her was careless. At check in the person in charge made all sort of excuses when I asked a few things saying that he was not normally posted at the hotel. The price of drinks was quite high. Moreover the room was perfumed with such a strong flavour that we needed to open the window (it was snowing) to freshen up the room smell. The air conditioning made the air very dry and again needed to keep the window open a bit all night to be able to breath properly. The place is Velia my expectations for an NH hotel (which I use frequently)

Nice stay in a place that was convenient for me.
Booked a standard room for 2 nights and was only really in the room for sleeping, not a lot of time during daylight hours. It would have been nice if there was a tea or coffee maker in the room, as advertised. I asked at reception about it and they said they thought that it only applied to superior rooms. I liked the fact that I had an inner door to my room to shut out the noise from the corridor. Not that there was much of that. It seemed a very quiet hotel. If you arrive from the airport and are not using a taxi, be aware that we caught the S Bahn train then 2 buses to get to the hotel.

Nice and clean room. Friendly staff. Bus stop in front of the hotel which made our journey to downtown easy. My only comment is about the A/C which was not working. Price expensive but maybe because of the period of Oktoberfest
