I realize that check in time was not till three and I got there a little after one because the weather was horrible and cold and was told I cannot check in till three even though I had a doctors appointment I needed to get to and I wanted to change clothes. But he was just sitting on the side of the room reading a book when I got there you can’t tell me there was not one empty room that was clean.

When we got there- there was no information given about anything. I had no idea how to access WiFi, breakfast hours, etc which is definitely not normal. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The breakfast was not good which was important since we have small children. The first night we were offered a fruit, a snack bar and a jimmy dean sausage inside a pancake.... which I don’t eat pork so the alternative was 2 fruits. The next day they were only offering 2 fruits and a granola bar. If I would have known breakfast would have been that I’d have stayed somewhere else because then we had to go grab breakfast elsewhere. I have stayed at many hotels during covid and this was the worst selection I have encountered..... I don’t think I have ever written a “negative review” about a Hilton hotel. Knowing this had high ratings I guess you can say it didn’t compare to expectations in regards to customer service or breakfast. Everything else about the room was good though.

The hotel is beautiful. The pool is not open after Labor Day but it was still much to do. The breakfast in a bag was new to us but they have excellent alternative options. The guest service was great and I would most definitely book again!

Good for the money-however, the elevator was not in order and we were put on the 6th floor. Told us the elevator would be fixed Saturday morning but it wasn’t. I requested a refund from hotels.com and they were very generous and graceful to refund my money
