Good location, good host!
Seoul Story Hanok Guesthouse is less than 2 minutes from Anguk Station. It is also within walking distance from Changdeokgung (within this palace is the Secret Garden) and Geongybokgong. Both palaces are beautiful. We were able to view Geongybokgong at night (check official website for availability). Viewing the palace at night was refreshing, with the lights beautifying the palace and the nearby cityscape providing an interesting backdrop. The guesthouse provides coupons for discounts on hanbok rental, to take pictures at the palaces. The guesthouse is also near to Insadong, with many eateries, restaurants and art shops. The crafts people at Insadong are really good! The owner was kind, hospitable and patient, making our stay pleasant and comfortable. She picked us up at Anguk station exit 1, cos we were unsure of the route. The other thoughtful things she did made us feel welcome. I would recommend Seoul Story Hanok Guesthouse for a good hanok experience.
