Loved the hottub, jucuzzi tub, breakfast. Didn’t have a coffee machine in room was the only downfall, but coffee came with breakfast

Booked honeymoon suite for a special night. Arrived, and they had over-booked that sight - I was bumped to a regular suite. I was severely disappointed - HOWEVER, unprompted, the owner immediately remedied the situation with a free stay. I don't think he could've done any more to fix the situation, we were happy. I believe this was likely an Expedia issue vs the properties. The breakfast was amazing! The views from the room were nice, but they (every room) looks directly onto a residential street with the mountains in the background, thus those that are described as 'private' balcony are certainly not private. All in all, this was still one of the nicest stays in Alberta. I'd go back again!

Unique decoration and atmosphere. Overpriced for what it offers in comparison to other similar of higher end hotels.

The pictures were deceiving about the room which was much smaller than illustrated, the canopy bed looked like an beginners art and crafts project and seemed like the canopy could fall over. No coffee maker or in room fridge or accessible ice maker and as we were there for our anniversary would have been nice to have.

Great views and a very comfy bed with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The in room jacuzzi was a nice feature as well as the delicious breakfast. We experienced friendly and excellent care. We look forward to returning and enjoying the lovely view from the dining room and lounge one day when Covid restrictions can be lifted.

There are not enough good things or words to say that sum up our time at Bear and Bison. It’s one thing to do business, we felt welcomed into someone’s home. As someone with celiac disease, the tailored breakfast and care given to making the experience as “typical” as everyone else’s didn’t go unnoticed. The staff are exemplary, the room was immaculate (who doesn’t love an in-suite jacuzzi), the view from our private balcony was unparalleled. We will definitely be back, and will choose A Bear and Bison first every time going forward. Thank you for the incredible stay for our perfect mountain getaway.
