The Imperial has a long and rich history, in its heyday world Presidents and Hollywood elite guested here, to this day you can see why, and it was such a pleasure to have been able to stay here, although we felt severely underdressed as everyone was in suits, gowns, or traditional attire. If you ever stayed at The Plaza in NY, The Windsor in Melbourne, or the Ritz in London, you will know what to expect here, a treat.

Unforgettable Experience
Our reservation was for seven days. We checked in on a Saturday that was very busy at check in with many guests for a big wedding. The hotel was sold out. A slight mistake was made with our room assignment and we were escorted to the wrong room. A very slight inconvenience for us. We waited a few minutes for keys to our assigned room. The hotel manager came up and was very apologetic for the mistake. He plus two other staff members escorted us to our assigned room. We stayed at our assigned room for two days and then they upgraded us to a deluxe corner room on the 12th floor. On top of that, a delicious plate of sweets and fruits was provided. Unbelievable service. We stayed at various hotels in Japan. All very courteous and helpful, but the treatment at the Imperial is an experience we will never forget. Thank you Imperial Hotel!!
