It was in a good location but an accident waiting to happen. Only 2 toilets among over 30 guests. No hand rails up the extremely wobbly narrow staircases. If you’re in the loft space, the mixed dorm, theirs no door, you can’t stand up because of a slanted ceiling, theirs no heating so it gets freezing and the beds are horribly thin. Oh and the sheets don’t get cleaned between visitors which is why you aren’t allowed to have any food or drink in the dorms.

DO NOT GO HERE.
We arrived here at about 10:15 having already informed the owner that we would be getting there after 10. They told us "no problem". However, when we arrived there was no one there to check if in. There was however a number to call to check in. We called it and it said this number does not exist. We then called the number supplied on this page, however this number also didn't work (hotels.com also tried the contacts they had and couldn't reach them either). Because of this we had to book another place to stay for the week.
While there, we also found out the same thing had happend to another group of people just a couple of days before and another group were told that they had only booked for 1 person despite having booked for 3. They said they had seen this happen to quite a few people in there short stay.
We are currently working on getting a refund but hotels.com is struggling to get it as this hostel is impossible to contact.
P.S. We ended up staying at Ritchie's hostel which had great service and great kitchen facilities and didn't need any up front payment.

Well people who are working their are very good and polite, the location is very convenient and close to the city center and bus stations.
However I felt like they can provide a better service with this place... From my personal background I think they need to add an identity to the place and maybe creative ways to communicate things such as framed notes, rules of the hostel, motivation quotes...

I got stolen my laptop while I left my locked luggage after checked out. The staff told me they’ll keep it at reception but when I got back there, my luggage was in a common room. And the manager said “it’s your fault, let it be your lesson.” Also they told me my credit card was declined so no more single room is available, I had to stay in a dormitory room instead. I checked with my credit company and it worked and I payed already, so it was a lie. JUST DON’T STAY THERE, it was totally a nightmare.
