Third Party Booking Issues
The hotel room was fine and as expected. Clean room, had a smart TV but it wasn’t intuitive and wouldn’t connect to our devices.
However, we had a lot of issues during check in. We booked through a third party and this caused a lot of confusion for the individuals checking us in. After about 15 minutes we got checked in and were offered a free water as compensation (whatever, thanks?). The real issue was after check out. I was charged an additional 120$ two weeks after our stay. I called the hotel to figure out why and they said it was a mistake made during the check in. Luckily I caught the charge when reviewing my charges but otherwise they would’ve taken an extra 120$! I understand mistakes happen but you should’ve be well versed in third party booking and a 120$ mistake is quite a big blow in this economy.
Additionally the pool was closed, the breakfast wasn’t free, and there was barely any parking as many of the spaces were sectioned off. We ended up parking across the way
If you book third party to Champagne Courtyard be VERY cautious and triple check all your expenses so you don’t get doubled charged.
