Dette hotellet kan pÄ ingen mÄte anbefales! Stedet bÊrer preg av slitasje og dÄrlig renhold med flekker, stÞv og dÞde insekter overalt. Rommet hadde innestengt og fuktig luft, ingen ventilasjon annet enn smÄ vinduer. Helt umulig Ä tÞrke badetÞy pÄ badet. PÄ badet manglet dusjforheng og toalettet sildret hele tiden. Manglet hÄndklÊr. TV pÄ rommet var i ustand. Elendige gamle madrasser med ekkel lukt. Frokosten var stusselig med juice og lunken kaffe som smakte utvannet. Betjeningen ved frokost var like sur som betjeningen i resepsjonen. PÄ kveldstid opplevde vi at enkelte gjester ble skjenket overstadig beruset noe som medfÞrte mye brÄk og spetakkel pÄ hotellomrÄdet. Rommet var svÊrt lytt slik at det var ikke mulig Ä fÄ fred.

Rommet lĂ„ i en bygning som lukter stramt av gammel rĂžyk, dette var noe fremtredende pĂ„ rommet. Nedslitt rom med skitne og Ăždelagte mĂžbler, ubehagelige senger, sprukken vask, Ăždelagte deler pĂ„ vinduene, ingen avtrekk bad. Et garderobeskap i gangen var skjevt og hadde tydelige skrammer etter at dĂžren var blitt tatt av/revet av?? Falmede gardiner. Rommet bar preg av ikke bare manglende Ăžkonomi til Ă„ pusse opp, men ogsĂ„ manglende vilje til Ă„ gjĂžre det beste ut av det. Å vaske skikkelig og skru et skap rett koster ikke millioner. Og er man innstilt pĂ„ (og har betalt riktig sum) sĂ„ holder man ut en natt slik. Men nĂ„r man booker et rom pĂ„ et det som fremstilles som et ĂŠrverdig gammelt badehotell, og fĂ„r vandrerhjem-standard, da blir det helt feil. Da kan ikke nydelige omgivelser redde oppholdet...

Idylliske Langesund bad
Vi hadde fin weekend der Langesund bad var base for lange gÄturer, besÞk pÄ lokal restaurant og konsert/bar. Idyllisk beliggenhet og interessant historie har dette hotellet, og bygningene som hÞrer til bra tatt vare pÄ. Vi fikk et rom i den eldste hotellbygningen med en veldig god seng og hadde god frokost begge dager av oppholdet.
