Beautiful new boutique hotel in lovely location built into hillside with fantastic views. No restaurant but nice terrace for drinks and light meals and breakfast. Lovely staff. Big room with comfy round bed (one of the suites but without jacuzzi or plunge pool) Valet parking good - will come and carry bags the 100m or so up the hill. Only downside was our breakfast was delayed about an hour but seemed to be fine for others . Short walking distance down to great restaurants and bars in via Buozzi and uphill to Largo del Duomo.

Fabulous, fabulous hotel right near the centre of Matera. Beautifully presented room and public spaces. Our room was huge, comfortable and had everything you could possibly want in it. The biggest selling point, however, was the staff! No matter who he met/spoke to (reception, bar, chef, handymen), they were all ultra friendly, professional and helpful. A credit to the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, we were just disappointed that we had to cut it a day short due to flight cancellation.
