We could not get out early to go for breakfast. In an emergency we would have been locked in the compound. You need to provide guests with front gate keys.

Very reasonably priced accommodation not far from the airport. Cheap but welcoming. Host has perfect English. He went out of his way to get me a needle and thread to repair some clothes, and personally took me to the airport when I checked out.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Konjo Guesthouse! Great location - felt completely safe walking around the surrounding neighborhood and exploring Shola market. Kind and Helpful staff - Abe (the owner) picked us up from the airport and went out of his way to help us plan the rest of our trip. Sintayu his assistant was incredibly friendly and kind - always with a smile. Room had a hot shower and the courtyard was really nice to relax in. Hot coffee and tea every morning made for some of the most relaxing moments of our trip. We look forward to staying here again!

Great value for money!
I wasn`t planning on staying in Addis on my trip to Madagascar, but as I needed to reebok my flight last minute, I found myself with an unexpected 26 hrs in Ethiopia, I had five minutes to look up accomodation on Hotels.com before my new flight. The friendly comments, the included pickup from to and from the airport, and the very reasonable price made Konjo Guesthouse an easy choice for me. The very friendly and service-minded manager who speaks more than perfect english picked me up according to my request, and i enjoyed a much needed rest at his guesthouse. Definetly recommendable. Thanks for having me!
