Room for Improvement
The hotel is clean and looks good in the common areas for an older location. Rooms are comfortable and the restaurant is nice. I rarely make negative comments, but the two things that cause this review to be less favorable than most I give are: (1) Other than the restaurant staff, the rest of the service team and especially the front desk are almost apathetic toward customers. There is no positive energy and the workers didn't even say hello unless you said hello to them first. This is easy to fix with training and needs to be addressed in terms of minimum standards for dealing with customers in a customer service business; and (2) The $15 parking charge for parking in what is the equivalent of an open parking lot that was never more than 15% to 20% full is offensive. I get the idea of improving margins by tacking on other charges, but this is absurd. It is almost the same as being charged for parking in the lot of a strip mall or fast food establishment. It's just open space. Completely unacceptable.

Exceptional
Rooms were huge, clean and bed was comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel was surprisingly good. All of the staff were very friendly and nice. They did super weirdly charge for parking. Would definitely stay again.

Weekend stay
I stayed one night with my girlfriend while visiting friends in town. Our stay was alright and the hotel was nice, however a few small things were annoying... - the pool was nice and the deck was huge, but there weren't nearly enough lounge chairs and seating. Maybe 10 loungers total and lots of open wasted space - our toilet pipes were very loud when filling up after a flush. It woke us up in the middle of the night. - parking was $15 even though it was a HUGE lot, and after we parked and walked in and paid, realized there was plenty of street parking in town. Overall, I might stay there again but I will probably look at other hotels too.

Very good
Clean, Friendly, Large Hotel
Stayed here for a wedding and was very happy with the room, staff, cleanliness of the hotel. Only thing missing was a large enough lobby bar (only had a few bar stools), but otherwise it was a fine place to stay.

Good
Stuffy room smell
I wanted to give the hotel a high rating but unfortunately the room was pretty stuffy and smelled like mildew. I along with a friend woke up congested and stuffy. The Double deluxe was not as spacious as I expected. We stayed here as part of a wedding room block. The hotel itself looks nice and the staff is friendly but the air in the room was off. they also charge you approximately $16 a day for wifi which was a bummer.
