Apathetic to their customers
The hotel was informed that my partner could not travel because of a severe medical issue, requiring a major surgery. They asked for evidence of the issue before they could issue a refund, to which I forwarded her doctors note. Although we found this invasive at least it would secure our refund or the ability to reschedule the trip. They have, however, completely ignored me since this communication.
