Cons: Definitely not a 5 star hotel, and I don’t know how it could be. The wifi didn’t work at all, The rooms are ice cold and the reversible AC barely works. You can hear pretty much everything that is going on in the streets due to poor insulation and very thin windows. The rooms are definitely not well maintained. I’ve never seen a hotel room with absolutely nothing on the walls, just a plain white emptiness… Our door lock was broken, some of the window shutters were broken. The on site parking was a nightmare: to get to the hotel lobby, you literally need to take 3 tiny elevators (with 3 luggage and a baby, you can only imagine how we felt). Overall it would have been an excellent 3 to lower 4 stars; but giving it a 5 stars doesn’t do it any good. Pros: The staff was very nice and helpful with what they were working with.

Good property, but lacking in other areas
Beautiful hotel, clean rooms, location was not bad. Overall the “hardware” is quite good. But lacking service. Not sure if it’s the ethos of “design hotels”. The friendliness of the front desk was inconsistent at best. Actually we weren’t sure if we arrived at the right hotel as there was NO one by the front door of the hotel, in fact that was the case throughout our stay. The beautiful front entrance might very well be a local government office entrance. Quite a contrast to all the friendliness and warm welcomes we experienced throughout our visit to Granada. If you want service and a warm and friendly welcome, don’t stay here. No outlet next to the bed, strange for now a days. Where do you charge your phone? Nice clean bed and historic building doesn't make a 5-star property.
