We actually stayed at the Caribe Royale which is next door. Buena Vista Suites appeared to be in the middle of remodeling or something. It was a gorgeous property, the staff were very welcoming, and the room was very comfortable. I loved the Bath and Body Works toiletries, especially since it was my favorite scent! Our only complaint was our television. Only 2 or 3 channels worked and it wasn't anything worth watching. We would definitely return and recommend this hotel.

This old girl has definitely seen better days. Lobby carpet was worn, but clean. Seating in the restaurant was cracked vinyl, but comfortable. Restaurant service was top notch, food was acceptable. No exhaust fan in the room bathroom. Toilet was a rocking chair. Excellent toiletries and clean towels and sheets. The fixtures in the room were dated, without a USB charging port in sight, but they were in the lobby. Broken handle on the dresser and missing retaining bar in the refrigerator. The pool was gorgeous, clear and sparkling. The arcade was good, apart from a pair of air hockey tables that wouldn't seem to be able to float a feather. Service was acceptable: restaurant servers patient and prompt, desk service friendly and helpful in person. Tried calling the front desk and got no answer 3 different times. I would stay again.

We were very surprised at arriving to Buena Vista Suites with signs saying check in was at the hotel /resort next door( why wasn’t this mentioned) The WHOLE HOTEL WAS CLOSED!! The resort next door( once you found your way to the front entrance) was beautiful but surprisingly empty. Couldn’t have been more than10% occupancy but acceptable with the pandemic shut downs. Room was an upgrade and off the menu free breakfast fantastic as were the staff. Only complaint although minor was the outlet in the outer vanity area would not hold a plug and it would have been much better to have bedside lamps with USB portals because there were NO accessible outlets to charge your phone near the bed. Also WHY do you have to have a room card to get OUT of the hotel parking. Confusing Better signage would have been nice. The resort was nice and clean and staff Very friendly. Not their fault but it was a ghost town. Sad! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

The stay was not in the hotel I booked. When you arrive they redirect you to the hotel next to it. The Buenavista Hotel is apparently closed or in reparation, so it should not be offered for booking.

Was transferred to prior to check in. Next door we stayed, the hotel name was Caribe Royale Orlando. It was decorated beautifully. Everything outside and inside was well maintained and clean. The breakfast was great choices. Thanks Hotel.com

On our way to the hotel we read reviews which told us we didn’t even get to stay at the hotel we booked. We called and this was confirmed. Upon arriving staff was friendly and we were told we’d be charged the same fees as the hotel we booked under instead of the new one we were staying at. We didn’t get charged parking, but at this point we were charged a higher resort fee. I’ve messaged the hotel to hopefully have this corrected. The room was very spacious and clean. The hot tub was not open which was disappointing. We had a pleasant experience minus being able to hear other guests easily.

I booked to stay at Buena Vista but upon arrival was directed to Caribe. They told us we would be staying at Caribe instead of Buena Vista because Buena Vista was closed. Caribe is a much older hotel and the rooms smell as old as they look. No one informed us ahead of time that our booking would change.

Beware. This hotel has not reopened since Covid. We received no email, no communication regarding the fact that they were changing our reservation and putting us in another hotel, the Caribe Royal. We would have liked prior notice so we had the option to find another hotel. We’ve stayed at Buena Vista Suites before and loved how new, spacious and modern the hotel was. We were so looking forward to going back to that wonderful hotel after a long day just to find out that they put us in and old, out dated hotel next door. The bed was terrible, lumpy and warped. The pillows are the worst ever! All of us woke up with stiff necks from extremely over stuffed, firm pillows. The bathroom was so outdated, not even close to the bathroom we had booked. We were scared to sit on the sofa it was sunken in and old. Positives were that staff was friendly, pool was beautiful, games were on site, breakfast was free and not a buffet and parking was free. Very disappointed. If you book here, call before to confirm that they’re actually open.
