Unexpected check-in
The room was not ready when we checked in at 10:30 p.m. There were towels on the floor and on a rung on the bunkbed. The linens were thrown on the bed. The waste cans were not emptied. Called the number provided. There were no available clean rooms. He did take up the dirty towels and linens and provided us with fresh linen, but we had to make the bed ourselves. Otherwise, the room itself was what we needed. The bed was comfortable and the room itself was roomy enough.

Charming Downtown hotel.
We loved the Hancock house! The layout, high ceilings, and modern design were great. We loved that it had a kitchen so we could cook our own food. 2 things that we didn’t love. There were almost no wastebaskets in the room. In fact there was only one small one tucked away under the bathroom sink. In a room with a kitchen, where we cooked a lot, it felt odd there wasn’t much of a place for trash. Secondly the Keurig coffee maker didn’t work and that was disappointing.

Weekend getaway
We were pleasantly surprised at how charming it was after reading reviews. Super cute room. Very quiet. We never heard any neighbor noise and the hotel was sold out. We will definitely stay again when we are in Louisville.

Will stay again!
This place was awesome! As two females staying we felt safe! Bars and restaurants in walking distance. Off-street parking was awesome. Using the keypad when leaving (locking) was a bit of a debacle, but we LOVED THIS PLACE! Will definitely stay again.

The stay was great, check in was easy, but it was LoUD! I don’t think I slept either night, you can hear everything from the street, cars, people, sirens, EVERYTHING!
